Welcome to T-Mobile Park!
Calling all Mariners fans – for the first time since opening its doors two decades ago, the Seattle Mariners’ homefield will be called something other than Safeco Field.
This past week, the Mariners announced a 25-year naming rights agreement with Washington-based telecommunications giant T-Mobile. The change will take effect January 1, 2019 and is set to run through December 2043. Renderings released by the Mariners show the stadium lit up by a warm, magenta glow – T-Mobile’s signature color.
“T-Mobile Park isn’t just some corporate-branded sponsorship to us,” T-Mobile CEO John Legere shared in a statement. “This is about supporting the community and our hometown Mariners in building a World Series-caliber team!"
The process of transforming Safeco Field into T-Mobile Park will take place over the coming months, with most signage expected to be replaced by Opening Day on March 28, when the Mariners host defending World Series champs the Boston Red Sox.

Directions
Interstate 5, Interstate 90, and State Route 99 all serve the ballpark within a half mile distance. Below is a list of exits to use to get you in the vicinity of T-Mobile Park.
From the North
I-5 South:
- Exit 165A – James Street
- Exit 164 – Dearborn St., 4th Avenue S./Edgar Martinez Dr. S and Airport Way S.
SR-99 South:
- Exit at S. Atlantic Street
- The ballpark is located on 1st Ave S. at Atlantic St./Edgar Martinez Drive S.
From the South
I-5 North:
- Exit 163 - West Seattle Freeway/Columbian Way
- Follow signs for Spokane St/T-Mobile Park via 6th Ave S Northbound or 1st Ave S
- Exit 164B - Edgar Martinez Dr. S
- Exit 164A - Dearborn St
From the East
I-90 West:
- Exit to 4th Ave S to park North or East of T-Mobile Park
- Exit to Edgar Martinez Dr S to park South or West of T-Mobile Park
Parking
T-Mobile Park offers a wide range of parking options for visitors. There’s something available for every price range and preferred entrance and exit. Read below to see which option is the best one for you!
Mariners Parking Garage
Located at 301-337 Edgar Martinez Drive South, this garage is located directly adjacent to the ballpark. Prices can range from $20-$60 and is a suitable option for visitors travelling to and from all directions. Parking can be purchased ahead of time online, and the garage is scheduled to open three hours prior to game time for each game. The Mariners Garage provides easy access to the Suite Level and Terrace Club by way of the sky bridge. Handicap accessible parking is available and can be purchased ahead of time by calling 206-346-4001. Additional parking options include motorcycle, bicycle, and charter bus (by reservation only). The Mariners Garage has a height limit of 7’0”.
CenturyLink Event Center Garage
Next door and just to the north of the ballpark, the CenturyLink Garage is located at S. Royal Brougham Way. This garage can be accessed via the Royal Brougham overpass and is the best option for those travelling to and from the north, east, and west via SR-99 and 1st Ave. CenturyLink has a height limit of 8’3” and offers parking for charter buses on a first-come-first-serve basis. Union Station Garage (South)
Union Station Garage is located a short half-mile walk from the ballpark at 820 4th Ave. South. This garage offers covered parking and parking attendants to assist with directions or any questions you may have. Union Station is ideal for visitors travelling to and from the north, east and west via I-5 and 4th Ave. Prices range from $8-$30. This garage has a height limit of 6’6”. Additional Parking
T-Mobile Park’s central location in the heart of Seattle provides ample opportunities for parking within a reasonable walking distance. There are several parking garages and lots in the central business district just north of the ballpark that offer visitors reasonable evening and weekend rates. Most garage entrances are located on east-west streets.
Please read and obey all posted signs before attempting to street park, as most curb locations are not available for parking or stopping before, during, or after games.

Policies
For the safety of everyone at T-Mobile Park, the Mariners require all visitors entering the facility to be screened for prohibited items, either by walk-through metal detectors, hand-held metal detectors, bag checks, pat-downs, etc. Visitors are not permitted re-entry once they leave. In the event of an emergency, re-entry may be granted only by an Event Security Captain or Gate Host Captain and requires security re-inspection. For everyone’s safety, T-Mobile Park does not allow the following items:
- Bags larger than 16" x 16" x 8"
- Pets (excluding service animals)
- Professional cameras or tripods
- Selfie sticks, flags, sign poles or brooms longer than 36"
- Weapons
- Alcohol, glass containers or outside beverages (except permitted, i.e. sealed soft drinks)
- Drones
- Noisemakers
- Laser pointers
- Fireworks
- Flammable liquids
- Inflatable items
- Skateboards, rollerblades or hover boards
- Signs or banners with non-sport messaging
This list of prohibited items is subject to change for other events including non-Mariners sporting events, games, concerts, etc.
